We just returned from a long weekend at my in-laws in Pierre Part!  My brother and Lisa flew in to join us for the weekend and we had such a wonderful time!  We ate, drank, listened to great music, relaxed, road on the boat, went to the Shrimp & Petroleum Festival (yes, you read that right), fished, saw fireworks & watched football!  What more can you ask for??  Mike & Rhonda spoiled us rotten all weekend with wonderful food and babysitting!  We actually ended the trip with a GOOD car ride home.  Maddie is usually terrible in the car but she was great this time - I sure hope this continues as we have more trips planned this fall!  Before we left today she decided to take 2 steps all on her own!  I'm not sure if this was a one time thing but she did it :)  I can hardly believe how fast she is growing up!!!
