More Christmas

Now that Maddie's getting good at reading and writing she has started texting. Her and Michael had conversations sitting next to eachother! Ha!


The weather was nice enough for us to head to a state park to go on a 3 mile hike! I'd like so say my kids were troopers but they mostly whined and wanted to be held.

It finally got really cold right before we left and the lake froze! The kids had fun throwing rocks and watching them slide on the ice!
